Though not a single ray of sun could ever reach here, the Lower Levels of Coruscant were anything but dark. Street lamps, advertisement screens and holograms provided plenty of illumination, excluding of course those areas still not rebuilt after the infamous Sacking of Coruscant. Picked clean by scavengers years ago and infested with the dregs of society, they held almost nothing of value now. Fortunately, Darth Nyx’s path lay far away the rubble-heaped hellholes. Though she didn’t like the more “reputable” districts of the Underground either… A question of aestheticism really, there was nothing here that could give a fully-fledged Sith cause enough to worry.

Still, she’d promised the Imperial Ambassador to take care of a few errands and wasn’t about to go back on her word simply because the air here was foul. Nyx checked her wrist chrono and sighed. She was being late. Quickening her pace, she made haste into the nearby lane. Strangely enough, the contact she was supposed to meet was not there. “Just my darn luck.” Nyx mumbled with annoyance and leaned against the wall.

Her eyes wandered from the motley crowd of aliens and humans still visible through the opening between two building to the constant stream of aircars that zoomed above, and back again. Why in the Dark Side’s name would that idiot be late? The Sith pursed her lips after taking another glance at the chronometer. Something about this whole thing felt off, though Nyx couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Instinctively, she tapped the dark grey topcoat she’s been wearing, as if making sure that her weapons are in place, and continued to observe her surroundings.

Nighthawk was watching from the shadows. He had already finished the job he had come for, and this was merely clean up time. Unpaid work. Fun time. Whatever you wanted to call it didn't matter much to Nighthawk, he was much more interested in the act himself. Stepping out of the shadows he surveyed his new playtoy. He couldn't see much of her with her coat on, but what he did see made his male loins respond in joy. Perhaps he would have some fun with her yet...

Of course he didn't have to worry that he hadn't been noticed. Despite the many pedestrians, Nighthawk was sure this woman was probably some sort of Sith, and even the most rudimentary Sith would notice a menacing presence in Mando'a armor staring at them. Come to think of it, most anyone probably would...

Another minute dragged past and still there was no sign of the contact. This was beyond strange already, and a persistent feeling of being watched only served to heighten Nyx’s suspicion. Still keeping an eye on the street, she produced a pack of slim cigarettes out of her pocket and drew one out. Sure enough the moment of peace and quiet wouldn’t last too long as she caught sight of some strapper wearing a full set of beskar'gam. Chances were, this guy didn’t come all the way here just for the shopping opportunities.

“Why does it always have to be a Mandalorian?” Nyx sighed quietly, igniting the cigarette and casting a quick glance at the opposite end of the lane. She wasn’t intimidated in the slightest, but Mandalorians were tough opponents and it was generally a good idea to be prepared for anything when a confronting one of their folk. She reached out with the Force, probing the area around her for hidden surprises or ambushes. There was nothing, at least not as far as Nyx could tell. Although it was hard to be sure amidst the never-ending cacophony that was Coruscant. Still, the Mando didn’t make his or her (again it was hard to tell under all that armor) intentions clear yet, albeit they were probably depressingly hostile... Just another day’s work. Nyx smiled crookedly and took a long drag of her cigarette as she expected this new “acquaintance” to make a move.

Ah. So he had been spotted after all, he noticed.

Well fair enough.

Making a show of bringing his rifle out, checking the ammo, then putting it back, Nighthawk unsheathed his Beskar from it's hilt, holding it up in front of him he admired the feral edge it had.

However he figured it was about time to start things up.

Raising his left gauntlet, Nighthawk aimed it steadily at the Sith and then lo and behold, out popped a poisonous dart, traveling at a high speed directly at the Sith.
